This week, from April 27 to 30, 2026, marked a highly successful second edition of the INNOVATORS Academy, representing an important step in the digital transformation of Moroccan education. The program focuses on creating a lasting impact by preparing both students and teachers for the technological challenges of the future.
The Partnership
The INNOVATORS Academy is a collaboration between INNOVATORS, AREF (the Académie Régionale d’Éducation et de Formation of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra), and AtlasBridges Diaspora Platform. This partnership demonstrates a shared commitment to improving Morocco’s education system by integrating digital skills into the curriculum.
The INNOVATORS Academy serves as a model for sustainable and scalable digital change. It is more than just a training program; it is a starting point for long-term collaboration aimed at making digital fluency a standard part of Moroccan education.
Workshops and Training
During this edition, participants took part in practical workshops covering essential modern technologies, including: Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR), STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and Digital Literacy.
Participating teachers showed strong enthusiasm for the sessions. They gained practical skills and new ideas that they can now bring back to their schools to benefit their students.
