DIGIT-updater has been designed to enhance the digital literacy of teachers. It can be used for self-study or blended learning and is fully accessible online. The program is structured around five key domains: Basic ICT Knowledge, Media Literacy, Computational Thinking, Information Skills, and Online Teaching. In addition, advanced modules are available for further specialization in Basic ICT Knowledge, focusing specifically on Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
The course materials are thoughtfully developed, drawing from real-world teaching practices and customized to meet the specific needs of educators. The knowledge gained in these domains can be immediately applied to both classroom and online teaching. Moreover, completing the DIGIT-updater domains provides excellent preparation for teaching with DIGIT-po (Primary education) or DIGIT-vo (secondary education). You will become familiar with all the components and skills that students will encounter. Upon successfully completing a module, participants will receive a certificate.

In addition to the mandatory domains within the DIGIT-updater for primary and secondary education, the domain Online Teaching has also been added to the course materials. This module includes tips & tricks and covers useful programs to make online teaching diverse and effective. This domain is also included in the DIGIT-updater for vocational education .
DIGIT-Updater for vocational education offers:
- 6 Domains: Basic ICT Skills, Basic Office Knowledge, MS 365, Information Skills, Media Literacy, and Online Teaching.
- (Final) Assessments: Optional for each chapter or module.
- DIGIT Certificate: Awarded for successfully completing a domain or advanced module.
- Instructor Environment: Management and tracking system.
