GRIP Rekenen stands for Good Numeracy in Practice. It is important for students to master arithmetic, both for everyday life and for performing various professions. With the new numeracy method, vocational students learn to calculate successfully, with the learning process playing a key role. GRIP Rekenen offers programs that are both school-based and work-oriented, featuring recognizable exercises and theory that connect to current events and the student’s world of experience. The program is designed to provide students with the necessary theoretical knowledge, combined with practical experience, preparing them well for the professional field.

GRIP Numeracy provides a seamless learning pathway across various levels of vocational education. The user-friendly interface and well-organized overviews ensure that teachers can navigate and use the platform efficiently.

The students start with adaptive entry tests to determine their level. A personalized lesson plan is then created based on the exam results. Every learner has their own virtual learning path in this way. This learning path consists of a variety of theory, real-world tasks, and evaluations that are delivered in a methodically organized order.

GRIP Rekenen is realistic and useful, because it incorporates interesting situations into the learning paths. The context is provided through five themes that connect with the students’ world of experience: study and work, transportation, housing, leisure, and citizenship.
